Can You Cure Anxiety ?
Having chronic anxiety is not only very difficult to live with but it often hard to talk about. Mental health problems are not always taken seriously and people with anxiety often feel afraid that others will blame or ridicule them. So they struggle to find their own anxiety cures rather then letting others know what is going on. Due to their embarrassment, and the social judgments that prevail in some areas, seeking professional help is often rejected or done as a last resort.
One concern that many people have is that they will be forced to take a course of medication or some other form of anxiety cure that they are not comfortable with if they seek professional help. Some doctors may suggest medication but this is ultimately the decision of the patient and he/she can request a natural cure or some other treatment if not comfortable with the proposed treatment.
Sometimes just speaking to your health provider about your feelings of anxiety might be useful in and of itself and not even require anxiety cures. Your health provider might notice that a prescription you are taking increases anxiety, or point out changes in your lifestyle that might help decrease anxiety.
If you tell your doctor about your anxiety without a clear idea of what treatments you would like to try, the doctor will typically offer you only the options of medication and therapy. You need to speak to your doctor and express an opinion about what treatments you would be interested in trying or your doctor will pick standard anxiety cures for you.
Just because the doctor begins anxiety treatment by prescribing medication or referring a therapist doesn’t mean that someone is limited to these choices. People often feel that they have been boxed in and that these are the only anxiety cures available, but that really isn’t true. Any kind of treatment that treats anxiety can be explored.
When you talk to your doctor about anxiety problems, be sure to be straightforward about the kinds of treatments you are comfortable with and about those you aren’t. If you aren’t interested in taking prescription drugs or going to therapy, communicate this wish to your doctor. At the very least you can state your desire to try some other options for controlling your anxiety first. Inform the doctor that you would prefer to try alternative anxiety cures like taking a yoga class or making a change to your diet and exercise program.
It’s a good idea to discuss with your doctor your choices regarding both medical and non-therapy anxiety cures. It is also likely that your doctor may be open to alternative treatments, including breathing and calming methods, and other alternative remedies for anxiety. You may find that your doctor even gives you the names of people that have more experience in these forms of treatment so that you don’t have to search around for yourself.

I would love to know the names of MDs who give out referrals to alternative treatments for anxiety. Give me their names, I want to network with them.
Anxiety cannot be controlled, that is the reason people usually do not succeed in overcoming anxiety naturally.
Instead, honor the reason you have too much static in your nervous system and do what is necessary to calm your body and nerves.
