Physically, people with social phobia would experience trembling or shaking, rapid breathing, sweating or hot flashes, upset stomach or nausea, dry mouth, muscle tension, blushing, dizziness or faint, clammy hands, or twitching in a social situation. They may also feel their heart pounding or their chest feels tight.
Because of anxiety attacks, people with social phobia are actually more distressed. Their anxiety attacks would limit their interaction with people and they might even have a hard time getting a job. School is also such an effort for them as this would mean avoiding speeches, social interaction, and even class introduction.
