The theory behind this treatment is that cancerous cells love and thrive in environments that are low in oxygen. Thus, if substances are introduced to the body to increase oxygen levels, it can help the body attack and defeat the cancer. Though science has not yet proven oxygen therapy to be 100% effective, it has been known to help people cope with the effects of this condition. There are two main types of substances used to increase oxygen production and flow in the body: ozone, an active form of oxygen, and hydrogen peroxide.
Oxygen and cancer could not be described as friends. All cells in the body will use glucose (the energy molecule) in order to perform their individual functions. In using glucose, these cells will need oxygen. The supply of oxygen, of course, is assured by the body’s respiratory system. With enough oxygen, normal cells will produce other normal cells. But there are times when the lungs could not get enough oxygen. When there isn’t enough oxygen, cancer cells may develop.
This is not the hydrogen peroxide that you will find in grocery stores or at the pharmacy, as it does not contain stabilizers and toxic additives. The type of hydrogen peroxide that is used is of food grade. If it is not food grade hydrogen peroxide, it may cause more harm to the body with the various stabilizers and additives that actually control the amounts of oxygen in the hydrogen peroxide solutions. This hydrogen peroxide solution is then diluted to a much lower concentration with specially prepared water and is given intravenously through a drip by a doctor. The resulting effect is an oxygenated blood that reaches throughout the body and kills off cancerous cells. This has been a proven method of reducing cancerous growths and even destroying them completely.
It has been discovered that people with cancerous cells have varying levels of cancer growth due to the amounts of oxygen in the body. Cancer cells enjoy an environment with less oxygen as it allows them to grow more efficiently. When oxygen is around cancer cells, it kills them off slowly and the body discards the cancerous growths with time. Special treatments including hydrogen peroxide can make it possible for patients with cancer to become survivors.
Hydrogen peroxide is of course available over the counter and can be used internally at small doses, properly diluted. Some doctors have been using hydrogen peroxide therapy in cancer patients, normally in the intravenous mode. This allows somewhat higher concentration of peroxide to be used, as it bypasses the stomach, which can be irritated during oral consumption.
