Signs of Cancer from a Mole

Most of the time one of the three melanoma skin cancers is from a mole. Melanoma is deadly if left untreated. You should consult a physician if you think there is something abnormal with your mole. Moles can result in melanoma.

Your genetics and family history can be correlated with moles and melanoma. Cancer moles aren’t visible at first and if you think there is something wrong with a mole on your skin you should consult a physician and get their expert opinion.

Moles should be checked often because even benign moles can cause cancer. Melanoma has been known to arise from the presence of other moles atypical, congenital, and even benign. So see your doctor if you have a mole.

Doctors will take note of the size of the mole, elevation, shape, and will check for irregular borders. They will also check the texture and color. Most cases of melanoma is from existing moles but not all cases. Moles that are effected by UV rays have the highest likelihood of turning into melanoma. If your mole changes color talk to your doctor immediately.

A mole can make you sick give you headaches, cause weight loss, graying of the skin, bleeding, thinking of your skin, and pain. If you have any of these symptoms they could be early states of melanoma. Melanoma effects your organs and body and if not treated can be deadly.

Sometime teens and children do not pay attention to things like moles, if however you do and you notice mole cancer signs, do not hesitate to show it to your parents and they will help you consult dermatologists who are expert in this kind of skin condition. Treating it early may save you from having higher risks of cancerous skin moles.
